The extremely late show.
That’s what I missed tonight. I had a choice between watching the Academy Awards or my weekly ritual…NASCAR. I decided to watch the race and record the Oscars.
Little did I know that I could have watched the Oscars and then come home and watch the end of the race, which is what I’m still waiting to do…at 12:58 a.m.
Maybe Jennifer Garner decided to forego the post-Oscar parties and make her way down to Fontana to see the end and grace the Fox television cameras with her presence. If only we were so lucky.
EDIT: As I finished typing this, they called the race and will run it tomorrow. I was looking forward to staying up until 4 a.m. to watch it, which would have broken my record of the latest I’ve attended/watched a race.
